Spent the afternoon lazing under the trees here last week on a sweltering Oven's Valley afternoon. Rocking up on bikes dressed in high fashion cycling lycra was not a problem and the view from the restaurant on the grass terrace across the vineyards to the impressive flanks of Mt Buffalo was spectacular. We even had a paraglider or two cruise across the vineyard later in the afternoon for a bit of entertainment. There's a playground on site to keep the little tackers occupied, although mine quite happily curled up under a tree on the grass and had a bit of a snooze. :)

Cuisine: Accessible & interesting
Service: Bloody excellent and very accommodating of small persons
Food: Yummy - both fixed and a la carte options available
Value: Very good value for the whole experience
Ambience: Outstanding
Glassware: Yes
Wine list: Very local obviously. As in from the vines just over to the right of the driveway over there or back up the hill behind you. Tastings offered throughout lunch at appropriate points to match the food
BYO Details: Possibly nil. We didn't ask, although we did manage to take away an impressive amount in various bumbags and backpacks.
Offline Prospect: It's a bit of a drive, but well worth the effort.

Score: If you're in the Oven's Valley, I'd go.
